Starter Warning Indicator System

We install a starter warning kit that includes a small light on the instrument panel that monitors whether the starter is engaged or disengaged. A simple and effective way to prevent possible starter and engine damage.

Total Drain Oil Sump

Cessna factory-installed drain plugs leave roughly a quart of the most contaminated oil in the bottom of the oil sump because of the side location of the drains the sides.  We've designed a drain located in the center bottom at the lowest point of the sump to get rid of all those deposits. This helps extend the life of your engine up to an additional 500 hours because your engine is getting only clean fresh oil after every oil change.

Engine Mount

Texas Skyways has STCs for engine mounts for C180 and C182 aircraft. Through a stiffer, more ridged mount and the use of vibration isolators, these mounts support the additional horsepower and prevent excess vibration for a smoother flight. The mount is approved for two and three bladed propellers, land and floatplane operations.

Exhaust Pipe Extension

This easily installed exhaust pipe extension will help keep the belly of your plane cleaner by channeling exhaust residues farther away from the plane than the existing exhaust pipe.

Exhaust Pipe Fairing

This fairing blocks the air which normally enters through the exhaust hole in the cowling. It creates a Venturi effect which draws more air out of the cowling and reduces CHTs.

Nose Gear Fairing

To improve the appearance of the nose area and nose gear of the Cessna 182, a fairing can be placed on the bottom of the engine cowling which will hide the upper portion of the nose gear steering mechanism. Another fairing can be added just behind the nose gear to aid in streamlining the front fairing.

Intake Air Fairing

The early models of Cessna 182’s and all models of Cessna 180’s and 185’s have a large gap between the air filter and the engine cowling which is visually unappealing. A fairing around this area greatly improves the aesthetics of your airplane without changing air flow.

The EDM 700 and EDM 800 Engine Analyzers provide crucial, in-flight information including engine temperatures and fuel flows.

Digital Engine Tachometer

This digital tachometer provides precise diagnostic and performance information about your Cessna aircraft engine and ignition system.
